Plans and prices
Unit 1 is free. Membership opens everything else. There are two plans, both in US dollars:
| Plan | Price | Billed | Terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $38.95 | Every 4 weeks | Renews every 4 weeks at $38.95 until you cancel. |
| Quarterly | $94.85 | Every 12 weeks | Renews every 12 weeks at $94.85 until you cancel. |
Prices include any tax. The price you see is the price you pay. If tax applies where you live, it is taken out of that amount and shown on your receipt. It is not added on top.
A period is 4 or 12 weeks counted from your first payment, not a calendar month. There is no free trial. We do not offer discount codes or add-ons.
Your bank or card company may convert US dollars into your own currency and may charge a foreign-exchange fee. We do not control that.
How renewal works
Renews every 4 weeks at $38.95 until you cancel. Renews every 12 weeks at $94.85 until you cancel. This means your membership renews by itself at the end of each period, and we charge the same card, until you cancel.
You pay on a payment page run by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. The terms above are shown next to the Join button and again on the payment page before you pay.
Before you pay, you tick a box to agree that your membership renews automatically until you cancel, and the payment page asks you to tick a box agreeing to your plan’s renewal terms. Neither box is ticked for you. We keep a record of that agreement.
After you join, we show the terms on screen and email you a copy, with how to cancel. The same terms stay in the app under You, then Membership, together with your plan, your next payment date and its amount.
Reminders: on the Quarterly plan we email you before each renewal, between 30 and 60 days before it. On the Monthly plan we email you a reminder once a year, in the week before a renewal. Each reminder says when you will be charged, how much, and how to cancel.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries the card again for a while and your access carries on while it does. If the payment still fails, your membership ends.
If we ever change a price, the change applies to future periods only. We will tell you before a new price applies to you, so you can cancel first.
To switch plans, cancel, then join the other plan once your paid period ends. We do not change plans in the middle of a period.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Sign in, open You, find Membership and choose “Cancel membership”, then confirm. That is two taps. You do not need to contact us. One question asks why you are leaving; it is optional and you can skip it.
- You can also cancel on Stripe’s page: choose “Payment details” in the same place.
- After you cancel, your membership does not renew. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for. The app shows the date your access ends, and we email you a confirmation.
- Your account stays open and Unit 1 stays free. Cancelling does not remove your progress or certificates.
- We do not make you call or write to cancel, and we do not offer deals to talk you out of it.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the period you have already paid for, except under the 30-day refund below.
30-day refund
30-day refund: ask within 30 days of a payment and get it in full. A refund ends your membership at once.
- This applies to every payment, renewals included. Each payment can be refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of that payment.
- To ask, use the contact form and say you want a refund, or write to [to be confirmed before launch]. Tell us the email address on your account.
- A refund ends your membership at once. Your access stops when we refund, and we cancel the subscription so you are not charged again.
- We refund the payment to the card that paid. How long it takes to show up depends on your bank or card company.
- More than 30 days after a payment, that payment is not refundable under this policy. Your rights under the consumer laws where you live are not affected.
Your consumer rights
Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the consumer protection laws of your province, state or country. Some places give you extra cancellation or refund rights, and where they do you keep them.
Membership is for one person. A team that wants access for several people can ask about Moxlearn for Teams. Those arrangements are agreed separately.
This page goes with our Terms of Service. If the two ever disagree about payments, cancelling or refunds, this page wins.
